Wolfberg WOLFBERG

Who we're looking for

We don't hire for résumés. We hire for the way of working.

Wolfberg runs on an operating model: one operator, a personal AI brain, and a team of AI workers, producing expert-grade work at a fraction of the time and cost. We're not actively hiring yet, but we're always on the lookout for the left-handed unicorns who can run it and lead it. When the time comes, this is who it will be. If that's you, we want to know you now.

The role

AI Operator — Wolfberg LLC

Wolfberg runs on an operating model: one operator, a personal AI brain, and a team of AI workers, producing expert-grade work at a fraction of the time and cost. We're looking for the next person who can run it, and lead it.

This is not a prompt-engineering job, and it's not a "knows how to use ChatGPT" job. It's two things at once: the judgment to own hard, ambiguous problems, and the leadership to direct a team of AI workers through them. The AI does the producing. You do the conducting, the judging, and the deciding, and you're accountable for all of it.

The operator's mind. You can hold a hard, ambiguous problem and find its shape fast, in a domain you don't yet know. You feel when something's wrong before you can prove it, and then you go prove it. You hold yourself to whether the work is actually correct, not whether you produced something. You'd rather catch your own mistake than ship and find out.

The leader's instinct. You know how to run a team, you've just never run one like this. Leading AI workers means decomposing a goal into work a machine can execute, specifying it precisely enough to hand off, setting the quality bar and holding the line on it, and knowing the exact moment your judgment has to override the output. It means building the systems that let the work compound: context that persists, protocols that keep parallel work from colliding, a cadence that doesn't drop state between sessions. You don't just use the team. You orchestrate it, and you own what it produces. Most people who are "good with AI" can prompt. We're looking for someone who can run a shop.

It also isn't a job for cloud nostalgia, for specialists who need a manager between them and the work, or for fluency in the language of AI without receipts to point at.

What we don't require. A specific degree. A specific number of years. A specific background. Our screen is aptitude, judgment, and leadership, not credential. The proof the model transfers beyond its founder is that it already has, to someone who came from an unexpected place. Unicorns can come from anywhere.

What you'd actually do. Run the operating model on real work: pre-commitment architecture, legacy modernization, whatever hard problem we point it at next. Direct a team of AI workers through it end to end, accountable for the result. Learn the way of working from operators running it on a live company, then run it yourself. Carry context like code, conduct the team, and own outcomes that used to take a department.

If that's you, you already know it. Tell us about a hard problem you got right when you weren't supposed to be able to, and a team, of any kind, you got more out of than anyone expected. Also tell us one interesting fact about yourself!
